About Us

KariCat designs are inspired by my life on the eastern end of Long Island -- the light and joy of our summer days, the ocean and farm fields surrounding our village, and the colors of high season in full bloom. When not enjoying the pleasures of our own backyard, I am energized by my travel adventures around the world --kayaking in New Zealand, camping in Africa, cycling through Paris, and diving the Caribbean –but I always return home for a paddle on Georgica Pond.

Working as a classically trained graphic designer and illustrator for 30 years, I designed for international brands and institutions such as JCrew, Louis Vuitton, The Knoll Group, and the Hamptons International Film Festival.

KariCat images are born from my continued desire to paint from the heart with a playful spirit.
